The University of Mary Washington's women's soccer's Maci Landel added another two goals to her season total on Wednesday afternoon, bringing her season total to eight in UMW's 3-0 win over McDaniel in Fredericksburg, Va.

For Landel, who was most recently named the Coast-to-Coast Conference Player of the Week, has now scored six goals in her last three games. Her first on Wednesday came to give the Eagles the lead when she netted a ball on Madison Bauserman's through-ball in the 25th minute.

The score stood at 1-0 entering halftime, and after a little back-and-forth for the first 35 minutes of the second half, the Eagles put the finishing touches on their win. In the 82nd minute, Landel took the ball 15 yards by herself to score the second goal before she found Ellen Shine just 45 seconds later for UMW's third goal of the afternoon. For Shine, it was her third goal of the season.

The defense, too, has been stout for UMW as it preserved its sixth consecutive shutout, going back to the Eagles' 1-0 win over then-No. 3 CNU.

For the afternoon, UMW dominated in the shot total (15-2), while it had seven shots-on-goal compared to the Green Terror's two. The Eagles, too, led in corner kicks, 8-2.

UMW is back in action on Saturday against St. Mary's for Homecoming in Fredericksburg. First touch is set for 12 p.m.
