The Mary Washington women's soccer team (1-0-1) finished up the first half of its season-opening road trip with a 1-1 draw with Penn State-Harrisburg on Sunday night in Middletown, Pa.
The Eagles recorded seven total shots -- three of which came off the foot of
Madison Bauserman, who scored in the season-opening win against Randolph-Macon on Saturday -- while the other four were each recorded by
Maci Landel,
Jazzy Imanverdi,
Reagan Boyer, and
Erin Reynolds.
Landel and Reynolds each forced the PSH keeper to record a save, while Bauserman recorded two shots on net.Â
On the defensive side, the Eagles were tough to beat once again as Penn State-Harrisburg recorded nine shots -- four of which were on goal.
Adriana Thompson got the start in the net for the Eagles on Sunday night, recording a pair of saves, while
Morgan Hicok also saved two shots on five total in the second half.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 7 with a matchup at Rutgers-Camden. First touch is set for 5:00 p.m.
