The University of Mary Washington volleyball team jumped out to an early lead, but couldn't finish Randolph College off, dropping a 3-2 decision on Saturday. Game scores were 14-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-23, 15-7; the Eagles slip to 12-14 on the season.
The balanced Eagles saw seniors
Chloe Crosen and
Ally Fletcher lead the way with 11 kills, while senior
Claire Jenkins scored 10 and sophomore
Libby Potter nine. Senior
Lauren Foley led with 23 assists, and senior
Brenna Campbell added 19.
Freshman
Alice Holoubek led with four block assists, senior
Hannah Livermon led with 18 digs, while Crosen,
Sarah Moore, and Sydney AIken each had nine. The Eagles will visit Christopher Newport University on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
