The Eagles fell behind by a pair of goals early after the Sea Gulls struck twice in the first 22 minutes of play.

But just four minutes later, UMW's Sammy Amorose put a ball that he recieved from Carter Berg into the back of the net to cut into Salisbury's two-goal lead and shrink the deficit to just one before halftime hit.

In the second, despite the chippiness that resulted in four cards, the Eagles struck for two goals to take the lead that they'd never look back from.

Gabe Francesconi floated a ball from the top of the box that found the head of Jordy Santana, who headed his second goal of the season into the net in the 61st minute to tie the game at two each.

Then Amorose found Berg in the box, a shot that found the back of the net, in the 68th minute as Berg gave the Eagles a 3-2 lead.

All told, Mary Washington outshot Salisbury (16-13), and had more shots-on-goal (6-5). The Eagles, too, led in corner kicks (9-8) as keeper Freddy Rogers recorded win No. 15 for Mary Washington run the Eagles unbeaten record to 15-0-1 this season.
