The University of Mary Washington volleyball team closed its home schedule with a 3-0 victory over Washington Adventist University on Wednesday night at Ron Rosner Arena. The Eagles improve to 12-13 on the season; game scores wee 25-11, 25-9, 25-21.
The Eagles were dialed in offensively from the start, hitting a crisp .403 for the night, with 38 kills against 11 errors in 67 total attempts. Junior
Lily Hussman led the way with seven kills, while freshmen
Alice Holoubek and
Sarah Starling each posted five kills.Â
Senior
Lauren Foley led with 12 assists, while junior
Maura Munson added nine, with senior
Brenna Campbell adding eight. Holoubek led with three service aces, and Campbell and Starling each had two.
The Eagles will return to action on November 2 when they visit Randolph College at 12:00 p.m.
