Biography

JUNIOR (2011)
Played in 104 sets, with 170 kills and a .210 hitting average... Added 16 aces and 22 digs... Led team with 111 total blocks (43 solo).

SOPHOMORE (2010)
Played in 92 games, with 183 kills, and a .252 hitting average... Scored a team-high 90 blocks (33 solo)... Had 15 kills and just two errors in a win over Catholic University... Had 14 kills and one error in win over Neumann.

FRESHMAN (2009)
Played in 93 games, scoring 120 kills and adding team-high 109 total blocks... Scored 10 kills at Salisbury University, as well as against North Carolina Wesleyan College and in the CAC Tournament against Gallaudet University... Also posted season-high 12 total blocks against the Bison in the CAC Semifinals.

High School
Played volleyball and ran track at Colts Neck High School... MVP of volleyball team... Team captain for volleyball and track... National Honor Society secretary... Won school’s most outstanding athlete award.... Named to All-Shore team in volleyball.

Karissa Mary Herrick is the daughter of Ellen and Michael Herrick. Honors admit to UMW... Youngest of four girls, all of whose names begin with the letter “K”... Enjoys seeing Broadway plays... Mathematics major.... Enrolled in the education program at UMW.
