Sees the field well and reads the opponents’ weaknesses quickly... Team leader on and off the field who served as a team captain as a sophomore.
 
2006: Saw a significant boost in production with added playing time, scoring 28 goals and adding 19 assists while playing solid defense in starting all 20 games... Scored career-high seven points in win over Guilford, with three goals and four assists... Had a goal and career-high five assists as UMW topped #14 St. Mary’s, 16-8, to advance to the CAC Championship.
 
2005: Started 13 games, scoring nine goals and adding five assists.
 
At Albemarle High School: Played lacrosse and field hockey... DeDe Owens Leadership award... Team captain... Patriot award... Pursuing Victory with Honor award... U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American... All-Central VA, Northwest Region Player of the Year... Team career leader in goals, assists, and ground balls.
 
Personal: Margaret Latham Murray is the daughter of Lang and Latham Murray... Hobbies include taking pictures and traveling... Older brother played lacrosse at Washington & Lee, another is playing at Loyola... Played in Tokyo in an international club competition in 2005...
