Biography

Has a knack for finding the ball... Tough to pass against... Emerged into full time player last season, will look to anchor UMW’s top defensive line this season.
 
2005: Played in thirteen games, all as a starter, recording 44 ground balls and causing 40 turnovers... Also grabbed ten draw controls.
 
2004: Played in ten games, scoring one goal, and had twelve caused turnovers.
 
2003: Played in eight games.
 
At Easton High School: Played lacrosse and basketball... Varsity club... French Club.
 
Personal: Elizabeth Grace Russell is the daughter of Martha and Phil Russell. Minds in motion award... First team all-Midshore... Defensive player of the year... Enjoys horseback riding and the outdoors... Spent the summer of 2003 working on a dude ranch in Wyoming, and spent the summer of 2005 in Scotland... Aspires to live abroad after graduation, possibly working in the Peace Corps... Has one younger brother, Ben.
