Biography
JUNIOR (2006-07)
Gained consensus All-America honors from D3Hoops.com and the WBCA... Scored in double figures in eight of the Eagles’ last nine games... Recorded 132 blocked shots, keeping her on pace to break the NCAA Division III record... Named CAC Player of the Year after averaging 11.1 PPG and 6.9 rebounds per game... Ranked nationally in blocked shots and field goal percentage (52.5%)... Made 10- 11 field goals en route to 21 points in CAC Championship win over Marymount... Had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks against Bowdoin in NCAA semifinals... Scored 14 points in 21 minutes in national consolation game against NYU with five blocks.
SOPHOMORE (2005-06)
Continued to thrive, earning first team all-conference and second team all-state en route to first team all-region honors by the WBCA and D3Hoops.com and a third team All-America selection by D3Hoops.com and honorable mention All-America kudos from the WBCA... Broke her own season blocked shots record with 140, which ranked second in the nation... Recorded her first career triple-double with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocked shots in Eagles’ 68-63 win over Concordia (Neb.) in Hawaii, 12/19... Blocked 12 shots against Washington & Lee, 11/22... Scored 21 points in win at Apprentice School... Led team in scoring eight times.
FRESHMAN (2004-05)
Scored in double figures in eight of the final 11 games of the season... Set school records for blocked shots in a game (9, twice), season (104), and career (104) in only one season of action... Had at least one blocked shot in every game of the season but two, and she combined for just 25 minutes in those two contests... Recorded at least nine rebounds in five of the team’s final seven games, including a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds in UMW’s win at Maryville College... Sank a last-second layup and connected on the ensuing free throw for the margin of victory in the Eagles’ 54-51 win at Catholic University in the CAC Tournament semifinals.
