Rebecca Harvey joins the UMW women's basketball program as assistant coach for 2022-23. She is a graduate of Orange County High School in Orange, VA and earned her Health and Physical Education degree from Bridgewater College.

Harvey was a member of the women's basketball team from 2016-2019. She was named to National Team of the Week her senior year, All-ODAC 2nd team her senior year, and was a 1,000 point scorer. She ranks #1 in career free throw shooting percentage in program history. 

Her coaching experiences include coaching JV girls basketball and middle school boys and girls basketball as well as doing individual workouts with young players around her area. 

Harvey has been a middle school Health and Physical Education teacher for the past two years.
