Biography

JUNIOR (2006)
Played in 17 games. Led the team with 10 defensive saves, which was nearly half of the team’s season total (21).

SOPHOMORE (2005)
Played in 14 games. Was limited due to injuries.

FRESHMAN (2004)
Started all 21 games, registering four assists. Was an important element in UMW’s penalty corner offense and defense. HIGH SCHOOL Played field hockey and rowed at North Allegheny High School. WPIAL All-Star Team. Presidential academic award.

PERSONAL
Maureen Johnston McGee is the daughter of Diane and Joe McGee. Steelers and Pirates fan; Intends to go to physical therapy school; Enjoys skiing and biking; Owns a dog named Shadow; Has played at USFHA National Hockey Festival the past five years; Would like to coach in the future; Spanish and sociology double major.
