The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams were both ranked fourth in the 2026 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference's Preseason Coaches Polls.

MEN
Mary Washington returns five runners from last year's roster, including senior Morgan Lehocky (Spotsylvania, Va.), juniors Everett Cimon (Williamsburg, Va.), CJ Hulleman (Harrisonburg, Va.), and Thomas Mulhern (Alexandria, Va.), and sophomores Trent Nichols (Blackburg, Va.) and Robert Stetkevych (Charlottesville, Va.). Newcomers Andrew Coe (Arlington, Va.), Daniel Herring (Arlington, Va.), and Evan Plath (Clifton, Va.) will push for top honors for the Eagles this fall.

WOMEN
Mary Washington welcomes back two-time NCAA Championship competitor Lily Hoffman (Virginia Beach, Va.), as well as top finishers Addy Wallin (Stephens City, Va.) and Eyaya Fletcher (Glen Allen, Va.), to a squad that finished 11th at the NCAA regional last year. In all, seven runners return to action, with the addition of freshmen Anja Lehmensiek (Crozet, Va.) and Lee Spickard (Naruna, Va.), who will push for top times as well.

Both teams will open the 2026 season on Saturday, September 5 at the University of Richmond Spider Alumni Open.
