The University of Mary Washington athletic department finished 77th among more than 316 scoring institutions in the final Learfield Directors Cup standings for 2025-26. Standings are based on invitations and advancement in NCAA Tournament competition.

UMW gained 262 points on the year, including 73 in the fall, with women's soccer's run to the national quarterfinals, 100 in the winter with men's basketball's national championship, and 89 in the spring, with men's tennis advancing to the third round and baseball gaining an NCAA Tournament bid.

UMW has finished in the top 100 in the Learfield Director's Cup 26 times since 1996.
