The University of Mary Washington athletic department is proud to announce the 30th Athletic Hall of Fame Induction class. Inductees include three-time women's lacrosse All-America Allie Kimmelman '12, volleyball standout Anne Lutkenhaus '10, women's tennis three-year All-America Lindsay Raulston '14, men's basketball standout Bradley Riester '14, former men's basketball coaching legend Rod Wood, as well as the 2003 NCAA quarterfinal men's tennis team.
 
Allie Kimmelman '12 finished her standout lacrosse career as a three-year All-America selection, and still ranks first all-time in program history in career assists (210), and is second in career points (348). Fourteen years after graduation, she still has registered 81 more assists than anyone else ever at UMW, and turned in four of the eight highest season assist totals in program history. During her four year career, the women's lacrosse team finished with a record of 55-27, and advanced to four NCAA Tournaments.

A 2010 graduate, Anne Lutkenhaus ranks as one of the top players in Mary Washington volleyball history. She ranks as one of just three players in program history to gain conference player of the year honors (2009), and was one of just three Eagles named to the 2015 Capital Athletic Conference Silver Anniversary Team. A three-year all-conference selection, Lutkenhaus still ranks in the top ten in school history in kills (1,257), service aces (180), and digs (1,334), just one of two players in program history to do so.

A five-time All-America selection in women's tennis, Lindsay Raulston '14 posted one of the greatest careers in program history, as she still ranks seventh all-time in singles wins, with 88, and is tied for seventh, with 81 doubles wins. Along with doubles partner Shelby Harris, Raulston was the top seed in the 2014 NCAA doubles championship en route to All-America honors in both singles and doubles that season. She was named the 2011 CAC Rookie of the Year, as well as conference player of the year three straight years (2012-14).

Bradley Riester still ranks as one of the greatest shooters and scorers in men's basketball program history, as he ranks fourth in program annals in scoring, with 1,532 points. His senior season, he led the Eagles to a Capital Athletic Conference Championship victory, and the team advanced to the national quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament while registering a 24-5 overall record. Along the way, Riester, a four-year starter, shot 44% from three-point range and led the CAC in scoring, with 18.0 points per game.

Rod Wood served as the men's basketball coach at Mary Washington from 1996-2014, and is the all-time winningest coach in program history, with 274 victories. Wood posted 13 winning seasons in his 18-year coaching career, after inheriting a program that had had just four the previous 23 years. Included in that run were winning campaigns in 11 of his final 12 years as coach – as UMW was one of only three programs in the Middle Atlantic Region to do so during that era. A four-time conference coach of the year, Wood led UMW to conference championships in 2003 and 2014, ranking second in CAC history in coaching wins. He has remained at UMW for a total of 30 years, also serving as men's golf coach, and then Director of Athletic Facilities.

The 2003 men's tennis team achieved heights never before seen at the University, winning the Capital Athletic Conference championship and advancing for the first time to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. Led by six current and future All-Americans, the Eagles finished with a 14-6 overall record, including a 13-4 mark against Division III opponents, and competed in the ITA Indoor National Championship for the first time ever. Seniors Conor Smith and Kevin Loden and junior Dan Uyar were named All-Americans, and future national champion Paul Bristow was named conference Rookie of the Year.

The induction will take place on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at the UMW Alumni Executive Center, at 3:30 p.m. Tickets will be available online prior to the event.
