The 26th ranked University of mary Washington women's tennis team defeated Salisbury University, 4-0, in the semifinal round of the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday at the Hegmann Family Tennis Courts. The Eagles improve to 13-6 on the season.
The Eagles quickly gained the doubles point, as
Addison Felts and
Natalie Kim gained a 6-3 win at one, and
Sarah Sandoval Banuelos and
Mady Holman scored a 6-2 win at three.
Singles saw Sandoval Banuelos score a 6-0, 6-0 win at three and
Sophia Broomall score a 6-1, 6-0 victory at four. Freshman
Naomi Feltman gained the clinching point with a 7-5, 6-1 win at six.
The Eagles will take on Christopher Newport University on Sunday in the conference championship, slated to begin at 10 a.m.
