The 20th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to 13th ranked Kenyon College on Friday evening at the Hegmann Family Tennis Courts. The Eagles slip to 11-2 on the season.

In a hard fought series of matches in doubles, the Eagles dropped a 7-5 decision at one, and a 7-6 score at two. Ryan Gipner and Jack Riordan scored a 7-6 win at three.

Singles saw junior Asher Willenborg gain a 6-3, 6-4 win at one over Alejandro Gonzalez, Riordan score a 3-6, 6-0, 6-4 win over Paulo Pocasangre at three, and Gipner gain a 6-3, 7-5 win over Styl Papamichael at six.

The Eagles wil return to action on Saturday against #38 Grinnell College at 11:00 a.m.
