The 37th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team swept a 7-0 decision from Allegheny College on Monday morning in Orlando, Florida, at the National Tennis Center.
The Eagles easily took the doubles point, as
Addison Felts and
Natalie Kim were victorious at one, 6-1,
Isabella Rotaru and
Sarah Sandoval Banuelos won at two, 6-1, and
Jacey Copeland and
Sophia Broomall won at three, 6-0.
In singles, Felts won at one, 6-2, 6-0, Rotaru won at two, 6-1, 6-3, and Kim won at three, 6-0, 6-0. Sandoval Banuelos won at four, 6-1, 6-0,
Evie Snyder won, 6-1, 6-0, at five, and Broomall won at six, 6-2, 6-0.
The Eagles will be back in action on Tuesday in Orlando against John Carroll University.
