The 20th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team scored a 6-1 win over 33rd ranked Washington and Lee University on Saturday afternoon in Lexington, Va. The Eagles improve to 11-1 on the season.
The Eagles gained the doubles point, as number one Asher WIllenborg and
Trevor Rein scored a 6-2 win at one, and
Ryan Gipner and
Jack Riordan gained a 6-3 win at three.
In singles, Willenborg scored a 6-3, 7-5 win at one, and Rein picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win at two. Riordan won at three, 6-4, 6-0, and
Cooper Lehman won at five, 6-3, 7-6. Gipner gained a three set win at six, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4.
The Eagles will be back ina ction on Friday against Kenyon College at 3:30 p.m.
