The University of Mary Washington swim & dive team competed in Day 3 of the 2026 NJAC Championships in Hampton, Va. The women's team is in second place out of 10 teams, while the men sit in fifth of nine teams.
In the finals on Saturday the Eagles had plenty of student-athletes competing. It began withÂ
Soleil Clifford,Â
Abigeal Higgins,Â
Megan Fallin, and
Spera Moy-Jacobs finishing in third in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a final time of 1:35.41.
Nora McMullen followed with an eighth place finish in the 400-yard IM (4:47.15) and
Christina Korkos finished fourth in the 100 fly (57.36) and fifth in the 100-yard backstroke (57.71). Moy-Jacobs added a second place finish in the 200 free (1:53.70), while Clifford finished in third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.80). And finally, Timmons added an eighth place finish in the women's 100-yard backstroke.
On the men's side,
Nathan Walker finished in 4th in the 1-meter dive, while
Kyle Johnson added a seventh place finish.
Thomas Sites finished in seventh in the 100-yard butterfly (50.35), meanwhile
Johnathan Zimmer finished in fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke, while
Sam Roundtree added a sixth place finish. And to round out the day for the men,
Tucker Burkey finished in sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (50.18).
The Eagles are back in action on Sunday for the final day of the NJAC Championships in Hampton, Va.
