The University of Mary Washington swim & dive team finished up Day 2 of the 2026 NJAC Swimming & Diving Championships in Hampton, Va. The women's team sits in second place of 10 teams with 328.5 points, while the men's team is in fifth place of nine teams (262 points).
The Eagles were led by a pair of third place finishes in the 50-meter free from
Soleil Clifford on the women's side (24.00) and
Sam Roundtree on the men's side (20.57).
Spera Moy-Jacobs finished in fourth in the women's 50-free (24.02), while
Rece Storer added a sixth place finish for the men's team (20.72).
For the diving portion of the meet,
Richie Baron finished in sixth in the 1-meter dive (265.20), while
Emma Walker finished in eighth (248.05).
The men's 400-yard medley relay finshed in fifth as Will Burkey,
Johnathan Zimmer,
Sam Roundtree, and
Rece Storer recorded a time of 3:19.99. On the women's side, Maddie Timmons, Clifford,
Christina Korkos, and Moy-Jacobs earned a fourth place finish (3:53.40).
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday for Day 3 of the NJAC Championships.
