The University of Mary Washington swim & dive team competed at Marymount on Friday evening to close out the dual meet season. The women were winners, taking down the Saints, 151.5-108.5, while the men fell, 152-110. The women conclude the season with a 6-1-1 record, while the men finish 6-2.
Women's Highlights
- Spera Moy-Jacobs put up a pair of individual wins in the 50-free (24.91), and in the 100-butterfly (1:01.54). She added a win in the 200-freestyle relay as well with Alex Kerner, Maddie Timmons, and Sarah Brown. Too, she was a part of the winning 200-medley relay with Sam Torres, Sarah Green, and Audrey Sivak.
- Nora McMullen finished first in the 200-backstroke (2:15.44) and second in the 200-IM, while Carleigh Dillman added a win in the 200-IM (2:15.24).
- Maddie Kryszon added two second place finishes in the 1,000-free and 200-back. Too, Marina Klein had a pair of second place finishes in the 200-fly and the 500-free, and Soleil Clifford added a pair of second place finishes in the 50-free and the 100-free.
- Ainsley Graf finished second in the 200-backstroke, while Sam Torres also finished second in the 100-breaststroke.
- Christina Korkos (100, 200-backstroke), Ava Rice (100, 200-breaststroke), Audrey Sivak (200-fly, 200-IM), and Megan Fallin (50, 100-free) all added a pair of third place finishes, while Ann Karr (200-free) had one third place finish.
Men's Highlights
The Eagles are back in action from Feb. 12 to Feb. 15 at the NJAC Championships in Hampton, Va.
