The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming and diving team took down Catholic on Saturday afternoon in Fredericksburg, Virginia to round out Senior Day and the Eagles' home slate this season. The men took down Catholic 171-91, while the women beat the Cardinals 155-106. The women's team improved to 4-1-1, while the men are now 5-1.
Women's highlights:
- Spera Moy-Jacobs took home three victories in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.49) and in the 100-yard freestyle (55.05), while picking up a second place finish in the 1,000 free. She also earned a win in the 200-yard free relay.
- Soleil Clifford also earned a trio of wins, the first coming as the breaststroke leg in the 200-yard medley relay, the second  in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.72), and as a member of the 200-yard free relay. She also finished in second place finish in the 200 breaststroke.
- Audrey Sivak was part of the 200-yard medley relay and finished first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:15.08), and in second place in the 100 backstroke and third the 200-yard IM.
- Christina Korkos, who was the butterfly leg in the 200 medley relay, also earned an individual victory in the 100-yard fly (1:00.18) and a third place finish in the 200-yard fly.
- Abi Higgins, the anchor in the 200-yard medley relay, picked up the victory in the 50-yard free (25.42)
- Sarah Brown earned a pair of second place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and in the 100-yard free.
Men's highlights
- Rece Storer and Johnathan Zimmer took home four victories each. Storer was the anchor in the 200-yard medley relay, while Zimmer was the breaststroke leg. Storer was part of the 200-free relay at the end of the meet.
- Storer earned a victory in the 50-yard freestyle (21.52), and in the 100-yard free (48.55). Zimmer, meanwhile, was victorious in the 200-yard fly (1:56.47), in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:13.18), and the 200 IM (1:59.55).
- Sam Roundtree was the butterfly leg in the 200-medley, and took home a win in the 100-yard breaststroke and earned a third place finish in the 100-year fly.
- Kyle Johnson earned a win in the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.41) and a second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke.
- Thomas Sites finished first in the 100-yard backstroke (54.77) and second in the 500-yard freestyle.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the University of Lynchburg at 12 p.m.
