The University of Mary Washington women's swim team competed against five Division I teams in the Potomac Relays at American University on Friday afternoon.
In the 200-yard medley relay,
Ainsley Graf,
Soleil Clifford,
Christina Korkos, and
Spera Moy-Jacobs earned a top 10 finish with a final time of 1:51.36. In the 3x100-yard butterfly, the Eagles earned their second top 10 finish of the night when Korkos,
Marina Klein, and
Megan Fallin finished eighth with a time of 3:07.60.
The top placing UMW in the 3x100-yard backstroke comprised of Maddie Timmons, Graf, and
Audrey Sivak finished in eighth. In the 3x100-yard breaststroke relay, Clifford,
Maddie Kryszon, and
Ava Rice finished in fifth of 10 teams.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Clifford, Abi Higgins, Timmons, and Moy-Jacobs finished in sixth with a final time of 1:41.18.
The Eagles open up their head-to-head meet season on Friday, Oct. 10 at Washington & Lee.
