University of Mary Washington first year guard
Kye Robinson has been named as the Rookie of the Year in Region 6 by D3hoops.com.
Robinson led the Eagles to the third round of the NCAA Tournament after scoring a team-leading 13.7 points per game, with 4.8 rebounds per game, 68 assists, and 38 steals. He shot 50.5% from the floor, making 41.3% of his three point attempts, and 76.9% of free throws.
He has already been named first team All-Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference, as well as the C2C Rookie of the Year.Â
This is the 24th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 28th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.
