The University of Mary Washington women's swim & dive team took down Franklin & Marshall, 179-83, on Saturday afternoon in Lancaster, Pa.
The Eagles got off to a fast start in the 1,000-yard free when
Marina Klein finished first (11:24.50), while
Carleigh Dillman placed second and
Nora McMullen finished third. In the 200-yard free,
Spera Moy-Jacobs finished second, while Maddie Timmons came in third.
In the 100-yard backstroke,
Audrey Sivak finished in first (1:01.53), while Hanna Siraj finished in third. In the 100-yard breaststroke,
Soleil Clifford finished in first, while
Sam Torres finished in second.
In the 200-yard butterfly,
Christina Korkos finished in first (2:19.94) and
Sarah Brown placed second. Meanwhile in the 50-yard free, Abi Higgins finished in first (25.35).
Moy-Jacobs picked up the first win of her day in the 100-yard free, while Timmons finished in second. In the 200-yard backstroke, Sivak finished in second.
In the 200-yard breaststroke Clifford won the event (2:36.86), while Dillman finished in second.
Maddie Kryszon finished in first in the 500-yard free, while Klein finished in second.
Korkos took home first in the 100-yard fly, while Timmons and
Megan Fallin finished in second and third. In the 200-yard IM, Dillman took home the win (2:16.13), while Moy-Jacobs finished in second.
The Eagles are back in action next Saturday at 1 p.m. against Frostburg State in Fredericksburg.
