The University of Mary Washington women's swim & dive team tied with Randolph-Macon on Saturday afternoon, 131-131, in Fredericksburg, Va.
The Eagles began the meet with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay as Maddie Timmons,
Soleil Clifford,
Christina Korkos, and
Spera Moy-Jacobs finished first. Next,
Carleigh Dillman finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:30.22).
Marina Klein finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a final time of 2:02.43. Then Korkos placed first in the 50-yard backstroke (28.65), then Timmons finshed in third in the same event.
Clifford took a victory in the 50-yard breaststroke (30.74), the Moy-Jacobs finished in first in the 100-yard fly, while
Nora McMullen finished in third.
Abi Higgins finished in second, then
Arianna Portella finished in third in the 50-yard freestyle. In the 100-yard free, Timmons finished in second, while Higgins took a third place finish.
In the 100-yard back, Sivak took home a victory (1:01.01), while
Ainsley Graf finished in third with a final time of 1:02.43.
In the 100-yard breaststroke,
Maddie Kryszon took home third with a final time of 1:13.59. In the 500-yard freestyle, Moy-Jacobs finished in first with a final time of 5:28.07. And in the 50-yard fly, Korkos finished in second with a time of 26.98.
In the 200-yard IM, May-Jacobs finished in second, while Clifford, Timmons, Higgins, and
Ashlyn Diederich rounded out the meet with a win in the 200-yard free relay.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, PA.
