UMW Volleyball Falls in 3-0 Matches to Eastern, #2 Johns Hopkins

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to Eastern University and host #2 Johns Hopkins University on Saturday in Baltimore. The Eagles fall to 7-9 on the season.

The Eagles fell to Eastern, 25-10, 25-14, 25-16. Senior Ally Fletcher scored a team-high eight kills, and Lauren Foley led with 12 assists.

UMW then dropped a 25-16, 25-21, 25-19 decision to the Blue Jays. Senior Sarah Moore led the Eagles wih eight kills, while Fletcher added seven. Foley led with 11 assists.

The Eagles will return to action on Thursday when they visit St. Mary's College at 7:00 p.m.
