The University of Mary Washington volleyball team capped the regular season wih a wild five-set win over Berry University in Newport News, Va. on Saturday evening. The Eagles improve to 14-15 on the season. Set scores were 25-20, 19-25, 25-20, 18-25, 15-13.
Senior
Chloe Crosen led the Eagles with 16 kills against four errors in 40 attempts, while junior
Lily Hussman added 13 kills, and senior
Emily Flamm added 11 kills. Senior
Lauren Foley scored 25 assists and 11 digs, while senior
Brenna Campbell added 14 assists.
Sophomore Sydney AIken led the way with 18 digs, while senior
Hannah Livermon added 16, with Foley, Hussman, and Crosen each adding 11. Junior
Avery Gallahue posted six kills and five toal blocks.
The Eagles will be back in action next Friday back in Newport News in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament.
