The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to the University of Scranton, to put a bow on the opening UMW quad match of the season on Saturday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-18, 21-25, 25-18; UMW slips to 4-3 on the season.

Junior Jordan Lyons again the Eagles in kills, with 12, and also added 22 digs for another double-double. Junior Caitlyn Burch scored 10 kills, while Chloe Crosen added nine. Sophomore Lauren Foley scored 24 assists, with junior Brenna Campbell adding 12, and Dakota Handen led with 27 digs. Burch posted one solo block and three block assists.

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit Catholic University at 7:00 p.m.
