The University of Mary Washington volleyball team defeated Messiah University in four games on Friday afternoon in Huntingtown, Pa. Game scores were 25-19, 25-12, 23-25, 25-17; the Eagles improve to 14-4 on the season.

The Eagles were led by junior Lordan Lyons, who scored 13 kills and 19 digs, while senior Krista Rodgers added 11 kills and six blocks (five assists). Junior Caitlyn Burch added nine kills and five blocks.

Junior Brenna Campbell scored 27 assists and sophomore Lauren Foley added 20. Sophomore Hannah Livermon led the way with 21 digs, while Lyons and Sarah Moore each provided three service aces.

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., when they face nationally-ranked Juniata College.
