The University of Mary Washington women's soccer team survived a 0-0 tie at Washington and Lee University on Saturday afternoon in Lexington, Va. The Eagles move to 5-2-3 on the season.

In an evenly played, defensive oriented contest, Mary Washington led in shots, 12-9, while the Generals led in corner kicks, 8-5. Mary Washington senior goalie Ally Holden made two saves in the contest. UMW has now not allowed a goal in four straight games.

Mary Washington will be back in action on Wednesday, when the Eagles host Mount Aloysius College at 4:00 p.m.
