The University of Mary Washington women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Bridgewater College on Saturday afternoon in nonfonference action. The Eagles slip to 1-4-1 on the season.

Bridgewater held a slight advantage in possessions and shots, but were held off the scoreboard by the UMW defense until the 62nd minute, when they went ahead. The hosts added a second goal at 69:32 for an insurance tally that would hold up.

Bridgewater held a 17-5 advantage in shots, as well as a 5-1 lead in corner kicks. UMW goalkeeper Allison Nork (Harrisburg, Pa. / Bishop McDevitt) made seven saves in goal for UMW.

The Eagles will visit the University of Lynchburg on Wednesday at 7:00 pm, in another contest against for the Eagles against an ODAC foe.
