UMW Volleyball Falls at Salisbury, 3-1, on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Salisbury University on Saturday, to fall to 16-5 on the season, and 3-1 in Capital Athletic Conference play. Game scores were 25-22, 11-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Sophomore Rachel Hendricks led the Eagles with 17 kills, while Emma Murphy added 10 kills. Junior Emma Olson had six kills and 33 assists, to go with six digs, while Jenna Yost had 12 digs. Freshman Mallory Hill posted four block assists.

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit Christopher Newport University at 7:00 p.m. in another CAC showdown.
