The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to St. Mary's College in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday night at the Anderson Center. The Eagles close the season with a record of 22-12.

UMW jumped ahead early, taking the first set, 25-20, but then fell, 26-24, 25-23, 25-15.

The Eagles saw Dani Fiore lead with 11 kills, while Rachel hendricks and Emma Murphy each added eight. Emma Olson had 36 assists and eight digs, while Jenna Yost provided 28 digs, and Caroline Porco 12. Olson posted three blocks.
