The University of Mary Washington women's swim team opened the season with a 154-105 loss at Washington & Lee University on Friday evening in Lexington, Va.

Winners for the Eagles included Megan Murphy in the 200 yard butterfly at 2:16.84; Stephanie Hallock in the 50 yard freestyle at 25.23 and the 100 freestyle at 55.66; Shannon Coryell in the 100 yard butterfly at 1:01.30; and Robin Brazier in the 200 IM at 2:17.83. 

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday at 1 p.m. as they host Catholic University.
