UMW Volleyball Drops Four Setter at Southern Virginia in CAC Match

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a four-set match at Southern Virginia University on Wednesday night. Set scores were 21-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-20. The Eagles fall to 16-9 on the season, and 2-2 in league play.

Freshman Rachel Hendricks led the Eagles with 14 kills, while junior Emma Murphy added eight. Sophomore Emma Olson added 32 assists, Jenna Yost led with 12 digs, and Kyla Foss added 10 digs.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when they visit St. Mary's College of Md. in another CAC contest. The Eagles will also face McDaniel College at 3 p.m.
