UMW Volleyball Closes Saturday with 3-0 Win Over Bridgewater

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team capped a 2-0 Saturday with a 3-0 win over Bridgewater College on Saturday at the Anderson Center, The Eagles improve to 16-8 on the season. Set scores were 2-21, 25-20, 25-16.

Freshman Rachel Hendricks led the Eagles with 14 kills in 23 attempts, while Dani Fiore added 10 in 14 attempts. Sophomore Emma Olson scored 25 assists and five aces, and Jenna Yost had 10 digs. Kyla Foss recorded seven kills and eight digs.

The Eagles, 16-8 on the season, will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit Southern Virginia University in Capital Athletic Conference action at 7 p.m.
