Swimming against division one competitions the Eagles came away from the day with a win over Howard University and took a loss to Mount Saint Mary's.

The Eagles had wins over The Mount by Abby Cox (400 IM), Anna Corley (100 back), Catherine Perrin (200 back) and Jessica Singer (500 free) and swept all the events in their meet versus Howard.

Senior captain Kristen Callahan says of the meet "It was a great opportunity to swim two division one teams as we head into our first semester rest meet, and while we are disappointed not to bring home two wins for UMW, we are proud of the way we swam and looking forward to racing again next weekend."

The team will return to action next Friday and Saturday at the Gettysburg Invitational where the Eagles wrap up first semester competition.
