The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a five-set match to Stevenson University on Saturday at the Anderson Center. Set scores were 19-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-21, 15-7. The Eagles drop to 15-13 on the season, and 4-3 in Capital Athletic Conference action.

On Saturday, the Eagles were led by Kaitlynn Wickersham (Midlothian, Va., Manchester) 's 14 kills, 25 digs, and three aces. Senior Tola Adebanjo (Overland Park, Ks., Blue Valley Northwest) had 12 kills and 18 digs, junior Ellen Smethurst (Charlottesville, Va., Covenant School)had 10 kills and six block assists, and Christine Tran (Oakton, Va., Oakton) added 21 digs.


Mary Washington will visit Hood College on Tuesday night in the conference finale at 7:00 p.m.
