TC Thacker has been named as men's basketball assistant coach, according to head coach Marcus Kahn.
Thacker joins the 2026 NCAA Division III national champions from Keene State College, where he served as assistant coach in 2024-25 and associate head coach in 2025-26. While in Keene, Thacker helped the team advance to the 2025 NCAA Tournament second round, finishing with a 23-6 record and winning the Little East Conference regular season and conference tournament titles. In 2026, Thacker, as associate head coach, helped lead the team to a 20-11 mark, with an ECAC championship.
While at Keene State, Thacker helped to develop Octavio Brito - the 2025 NCAA Division III Player of the Year - as well as notable development players that emerged to all-conference levels of performance.
Prior to Keene State, Thacker served one season as assistant coach at Bridgewater College, where the Eagles gained their most wins in a season since 2004-05, and best ODAC mark since 2008-09. His other coaching experience includes stops at Pro Performance Training in Nashville, as well as coaching experience as an assistant at Oak Hill Academy.
Thacker is a 2022 graduate of the University of Lynchburg, where he gained three all-conference honors, as well as all-state and academic All-America honors. He finished his playing career with 1102 points and 822 rebounds.
