University of Mary Washington

Amber Rotenour has been named as assistant coach for University of Mary Washington equestrian.

Ritenour has been riding for 18 years. She started out in hunters and equitation, then found a love for the jumpers when she was 8. She has shown extensively on the east coast, and even have shown at the Las Vegas National Horse show!

 She currently has two horses of her own. Her current show horse Omega, and a yearling filly, Harmony, that she is bringing up to be her next top jumper. "I have always had a passion for training the younger and greener horses. I love the horses that challenge myself to be a better rider", says Ritenour. 

"Throughout this upcoming year, I look forward to helping each and every rider perform at the best of their abilities while having fun and learning true horsemanship that will get them far in this sport."
