Biography

Gail is planning on double majoring in International Affairs and Mathematics. While she had never played rugby before college (instead doing soccer and crew), her family’s long rugby-playing history convinced her to give it a try. She found out about rugby at UMW when the team won the 2014 Division II National Championships… and was introduced to the team when her father overheard two players talking rugby on move-in day and dragged them to her room to meet her. Two-and-a-half years later, Gail is Vice President of the rugby team and works as a tutor at the Writing Center on campus (which she firmly believes everyone should make use of). Gail is also part of the Renaissance Club and Yarn Works.
