Placed second in the pole vault and 13th in the javelin throw at the CAC Championships.

Ran indoor and outdoor track and field, and cross country at Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, Virginia... Captain... Indoor and Outdoor MVP... Sixth in state track meet... Presidents Award.

Yamina Spring Damita James is daughter of Amira James. Vegetarian... Love animals... Plans on working in the conservation field... Environmental Science major.
