The 34th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team defeated #28 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, 5-1, on Thursday in Orlando, Florida. The Eagles improve to 5-0 on the season.
Due to time and weather, only singles was played. The Eagles cored a win from junior
Addison Felts at one, 6-3, 6-1, freshman
Isabella Rotaru won at two, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3, sophomore
Natalie Kim was victorious at three, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5, junior
Evie Snyder won at four, 7-6, 6-7, 1-0 (6), and sophomore
Sophia Broomall won at five, 7-5, 6-4.
The Eagles will be back in action on March 14 at Washington and Lee University.
