The 75th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Case Western Reserve University on Saturday evening in Cleveland, Ohio. The Eagles slip to 4-7 on the season.
The Eagles dropped the doubles point, but did gain a win at two doubles, as
Linda Dimitroff and
Sophia Broomall defeated Anna Kan and Asha Shukla by a score of 6-3.
UMW scored a point in singles as first year
Natalie Kim gained a 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 win at two over Laurel Utterback.
The Eagles will be back in action on Sunday at Case against Otterbein University at 1:00 p.m.
