The 37th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at 14th ranked Christopher Newport University on Saturday afternoon in Newport News, Va. The Eagles slip to 4-6 on the season.
The Eagles fell at all three doubles flights, as
Addison Felts and Natalie Brown fell at one, 6-2,
Linda Dimitroff and
Sophia Broomall fell 6-2 at two, and
Jacey Copeland and
Evie Snyder droppd a 6-1 match at three.
In singles, Felts took her match at one to a third set super breaker, 6-7, 6-2, 10-7, Kim dropped a three setter at two, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, and Snyder went three sets at six, falling, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.Â
The Eagles will be back in action next Saturday, visiting 16th ranked Case Western Reserve University at 11:00 a.m.
