The University of Mary Washington men's swim & dive team fell to Washington & Lee on Friday afternoon, 182-80.
In the 1,000-yard freestyle,
Larry Almariento finished second with a final time of 10:28.12.
Thomas Sites followed with a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle.
In the 100-yard backstroke,
Tucker Burkey finished in second with a time of 53.83. While Will Burkey finished in second in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Johnathan Zimmer finished in second with a time of 1:58.47 in the 200-yard butterfly. Meanwhile,
Rece Storer finished in second in the 50-yard freestyle.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Storer went on to finish in third. And in the 200-yard backstroke,
Tucker Burkey finished in third with a time of 2:01.80.
Zimmer, in the 200-yard breaststroke, finished in first with a time of 2:13.77, while Will Burkey finished in third.
And in the 500-freestyle, Almariento finished in third with a time of 5:02.89. In the 100-yard butterfly, Sites finished in second, while
Tucker Burkey placed in third.
In the 200-yard IM,
Johnathan Zimmer placed in third in the 200-yard IM.
The Eagles are back in action next Saturday (Oct. 18) against Randolph-Macon at 12 p.m. in Fredericksburg, Va.
