The University of Mary Washington equestrian team continued its outstanding weekend with a second place finish at the Christopher Newport University on Sunday.

Kate Howlin and
Emma Najdzionek were in three-way tie for high point rider, with Najdzionek claiming high point honors on the day.

Howlin tied for high point honors with a first in her Open flat class, and second in Open fences. Najdzionek took second in Intermediate flat and first in Intermediate fences.
Annabella Nonamaker was third in Intermediate flat, and
Eliza LaViolette finished second in Intermediate flat and second in Limit fences.
Alexis Neyra had a great ride in a competitive Limit flat class, while
Lola Bender took third in Limit flat, and first in Limit fences.
Olivia Miller took sixth in Limit flat,Â
Anna Wood was fourth in Novice B, and
Maddie Hendell was sixth in Novice B. Julissa Motta-Santizo was second in Novice A, and Josiah Schlechy was third in Intro.
The Eagles will return to action on October 6 at Randolph-Macon at 10:00 a.m.
