The University of Mary Washington men's rugby team made the long trek to Marietta, Ga., this weekend, for a top-ten matchup with Life University. The hot weather and long bus ride seemed to take a toll on the Eagles, as they started out slow on defense and couldn't get any go forward ball in attack. Everything seamed to go wrong for UMW with a number of knock ons in the attacking zone and even on kick returns. UMW did manage to come away with scores every time they entered the Life 22 but it wasn't enough, as Life scored a 55-15 victory.
