The University of Mary Washington men's swim team fell to Washington & Lee on Saturday afternoon at the Prince William Aquatics Center, 189-70.
Will Burkey finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.97 and
Johnathan Zimmer placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.99).
Larry Almariento finished second as well in the 500-yard free style with a final time of 5:01.39.
Sam Roundtree also took home a second place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (52.37). Zimmer then went on to place second in the 200-yard IM (2:02.44).
The Eagles had a handful of third place finishes in the meet as
Paul Datovech took home a third place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a final time of 55.10.
Johnathan Zimmer finished third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:00.70).
Sam Roundtree finished third in the 50-meter freestyle (21.71). Burkey also placed third in the 100-yard freestyle (49.21). AJ Green, too, placed third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:19.02.
Patrick Stern finished third in the 100-yard fly (54.84). Dan Rojas finished third in the 200 IM (2:07.43)
